The JMA HR Solutions team at James Moore & Co., P.L.'s is currently partnering with Command Medical Products to find a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor who will bring their expertise to the team. We are seeking candidates who are eager to join their mission and contribute to the next generation of life-saving devices.The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and strategic planning of all facility-related systems and services within a regulated contract medical device manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production equipment, building systems, and the facility operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.This position supervises a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff, drives preventative and corrective maintenance programs, and leads efforts to optimize facility resources-enhancing productivity while minimizing costs and downtime.If you're ready to be a part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians, custodial personnel, and external contractors to ensure smooth operations across all facility systems.Manage the maintenance and performance of all production and support equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.Plan, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and equipment life cycles.Oversee facility services including building maintenance, cleaning, waste management, recycling, fire and security systems, and utilities management.Ensure full compliance with OSHA, FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and audit readiness at all times.Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for safety incidents or equipment failures; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).Lead space utilization and resource allocation planning to support future production and operational growth.Evaluate and procure new equipment and tooling as needed, including conducting cost-benefit analyses and managing vendor relationships.Solicit and manage contractor bids; oversee projects and ensure contracted work is completed to scope, budget, and timeline.Ensure the proper inspection, testing, and documentation of fire alarm, security systems, emergency exits, and life safety equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal codes.Maintain current and appropriate insurance coverage for all facility assets and operations.Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects focused on lean operations and facility optimization.Serve as the designated key holder/point of contact for emergency calls regarding the facility outside of regular business hours.Willingness to work outside normal office hours when required.Travel may be required, with occasional overnight stays.Minimum Qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent supervisory experience in facilities management or related field.Working knowledge of various manufacturing methods.Proven ability to manage a team providing facilities management services.Technical knowledge of building systems, including water systems, HVAC, electrical, emergency, and production machinery.Ability to produce, monitor, and reconcile budgets.Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with staff, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.Ability to negotiate building service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.Thorough knowledge of OSHA Health and Safety Guidelines and Requirements, legislation, and codes of practice, including electrical safety and environmental management.Knowledge of building codes, method statements, and working procedures.Benefits of joining Command Medical Products:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Dynamic and collaborative work environment.Be a key contributor to operational efficiency and safety improvements.
