FACILITIES HANDYMAN Description We're looking for a Handyman to join our TEAM here at Nimnicht Chevrolet. We are a family-owned business that has been in business for 84 years! The Handyman does general maintenance and repairs. Plumbing repairs- Repairing leaks, fixing faucets, unclogging drains and replacing damaged pipes. Electrical repairs- Replacing outlets and switches, installing light fixtures and troubleshooting minor electrical problems. Carpentry - Building and repairing decks, fences and furniture; installing shelves and cabinets. Painting - Preparing surfaces, applying paint and patching drywall. Appliance repair - Troubleshooting and fixing common appliance issues. Furniture - Putting together furniture and other items. General Repairs - Fixing doors, windows and other fixtures around the property. Problem Solving; Identifying the root cause of a problem and finding a suitable solution is crucial. Effectively Communicating to understand and provide updates on work progress is essential. Adhering to Safety regulations and using tools and equipment safely is a top priority. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as keeping track of tools and materials is important. Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships. Having a basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems is required.
