Facilities EngineerResponsibilitiesAssign and schedule work tasks with other facility technicians in a team-oriented environment and perform initial evaluations of building systems and distribute work assignments.Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, and any other mechanical systems.Coordinate and assist in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.Review and maintain maintenance logs and all documentation necessary to the completion of a task.Instruct team in how to dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA procedures.Conducting research on new technologies in order to develop efficient designs for new HVAC systemsProviding technical support to other engineers within a company regarding projects or issues related to HVAC systemsDesigning, constructing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial buildingsAnalyzing building plans to determine the number of HVAC units required for each room or floor of a buildingEvaluating customer needs and recommending appropriate solutionsDetermining the best location for installing HVAC equipment in a buildingCoordinating with contractors to ensure that new installations meet building codes and are completed on timeWorking with contractors to ensure that existing HVAC systems are operating properlyInspecting equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handling units, and refrigeration equipmentRequirements3 years of direct work experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar discipline is required.Advanced skills with Auto-CAD, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Explorer)Strong analytical skills and proven organizational ability and attention to detail is a must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and deadline-focusedStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlinesAbility to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problemsStrong command over written and verbal English is required.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
