Position Overview

As a Facilities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing plant operations and building renovations. Your role includes evaluating programs, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading staff development.

Key Responsibilities

Review and evaluate existing programs, policies, and procedures

Monitor work flow and quality to ensure timely completion and compliance with standards using computerized maintenance and management systems

Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including energy savings programs

Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as the Joint Commission, EPA, and others

Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff

Build effective client relationships

Monitor staff performance and conduct evaluations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
• At least 5 years of hospital engineering maintenance experience at a director or assistant director level
• Experience in hospital project and construction management is a plus
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards such as the Joint Commission and NFPA
