THE POSITION: Facilities CoordinatorThe Shade Store is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities & Construction Department. We're entering a phase of aggressive growth, so this is an exciting time to join the team that builds, maintains and supports our 150+ showrooms. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for providing departmental support including a range of administrative functions. You will assist in all aspects of maintaining existing showrooms. RESPONSIBILITIES:Support our nationwide showrooms by responding to and tracking service requests, including off-hours emergenciesPlace and track orders through delivery for supplies, product, and displays Monitor order process through installation and collect/file all documentationFollow up with showroom staff on all service requests to ensure and document completionCreate and request purchase orders for projects and repairs/maintenanceAssist with leasing files and project documentsAct as a liaison between Facilities & Construction, internal departments and outside vendors (I.e. Sales Staff, Property Manager Representatives, General Contractors)Maintain and update departmental files including weekly project trackers, ServiceChannel, site contact sheets, proposals, purchase orders, invoices, permits, licenses, and the showroom display and décor libraryBackup and assist team members as neededWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:High school diploma or equivalent required - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred1-2 years relevant work experienceProficient in MS Office and web applicationsExperience with ServiceChannel preferred but not requiredExcellent customer service skills to facilitate interaction between internal teams and vendorsEffective time management, organizational, and communication skillsSelf-starter with great attention to detail Willingness to be on-call off-hours/weekends as necessary Ability to read and understand construction drawingsBasic understanding of MEP and architectural building systemsWHY WORK AT THE SHADE STORE® We set out to create a company culture that is enjoyable and rewarding, where team members can have meaningful impact.
