Facilities Associate

The Facilities Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment through routine cleaning, seasonal maintenance, facilities support, and assistance with agency events and transportation needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides routine maintenance and custodian support to assigned areas.

  • Responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance and cleaning of assigned work areas.

  • Performs daily cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning walls, windows, restrooms, emptying and cleaning trash containers.

  • Ensures that all conference rooms are ready for daily use for meetings or special events by arranging tables and chairs.

  • Perform routine and minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry.

  • May perform exterior cleaning, landscaping and snow removal.

  • May be asked to perform special projects such as moving furniture or picking up donations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    XKneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day.XPush and pull objects up to 50 pounds.XClimb up and down up to 3 or more flights of stairs at a time.XLift up to 50 pounds.XAdditional Requirements: Job duties may need to be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
