Base pay range: $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Job Definition

The Facilities Associate will perform basic maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, and support services. The role may involve occasional use of agency vehicles; however, primarily personal vehicles and tools will be used. The Facilities Associate interacts routinely with all agency staff and clients.

Educational Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent.

Experience Required

1-2 years of relevant building maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs at program sites and residents' homes, including painting, masonry, woodwork, plumbing, and electrical work.

Work based on work orders submitted by program directors or administrative personnel, under supervision of the Facilities Supervisor.

Assist with office and resident relocations, including moving furniture, debris removal, painting, and site repairs.

Identify potential maintenance and safety issues at residential sites and recommend solutions.

Suggest improvements in work conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency.

Collaborate with vendors to acquire bids, in partnership with relevant departments.

Follow safety regulations and enforce policies, including during the use of temporary workers.

Stand in for the Facilities Supervisor as needed.

Participate in quality improvement training and activities as part of professional development.

Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
