Facilities Assistant - Custodial - Northwest College : Job Details

This position performs a variety of basic custodial and maintenance activities, and/or year-round grounds keeping, basic utility/maintenance tasks. Re-opened 7/28/25. Essential Responsibilities & Duties Performs a variety of cleaning activities which may include: vacuuming, shampooing, and hand cleaning carpets and rugs; picking up trash and litter from grounds, in buildings, and on buses; and, performing other related activities. Monitors associated supplies/inventory and notifies appropriate individual(s) when stock levels reach specified levels. Operates and maintains a variety of cleaning equipment and tools. Observe campus buildings and properties and communicate problems or situations which need attention to the appropriate individual(s). Open or lock/secure doors at scheduled times or as requested.
