Responsibilities include maintenance, safety, project management, fiscal oversight, and personnel management.Appointment Details Salary: $98,000 - $103,000/year, full benefits. Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, day shift. Location: UC Santa Cruz Main Campus. Classification: Career appointment. No end date. Union: Non-Represented.Job Duties Manage operations, repairs, and maintenance of complex systems, ensuring safety and health standards.Develop maintenance procedures, assess building conditions, and prioritize repairs.Oversee safety compliance, hazardous waste management, and emergency response.Manage budgets (~$2.4M operations, $800K-$6M projects), oversee expenditures, and approve purchases.Supervise staff, set performance standards, and conduct training.Qualifications Experience in facilities maintenance and residential facilities management.Leadership and supervisory skills, knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and project management.Budget management, risk assessment, and excellent communication skills.Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 4+ years supervisory experience in facilities.Conditions Background check, valid CA driver's license, ability to respond to emergencies, and adherence to university policies including vaccination and mandated reporting.This job posting is active and not expired.#J-18808-Ljbffr
