SummaryThe individual will oversee all buildings and grounds issues and purchasing in addition to managing initiatives and projects.Duties & Responsibilities* Develop and recommend property management, facility and maintenance policies, procedures and facilities improvement plan* Manage facilities related projects, including planning, timelines, design, budgeting, construction and maintenance, ensuring projects are completed to specifications and within established guidelines for existing and new facilities* Supervise facilities staff and contractors daily* Ensure all facility maintenance requests and improvements are addressed in a timely fashion* Oversee internal purchasing system for business, working with appropriate staff members to review contracts and agreements on a routine basis to assure best price and service* Work with outside vendors to ensure compliance with contracts, agreements and pricing arrangements* Maintain warranty information and tracking system on all equipment and supplies* Coordinate emergency preparedness work of the organization* Plans and implements preventive maintenance activities on building, interiors, exteriors and systems at multi-site facilities* Participate in meetings, workshops and conferences as requested* Promote the mission, vision and values of the organization in all interactions* Other special projects or duties as assignedQualificationsThe individual must respect the confidentiality of patient information while performing job duties, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and public. The individual must demonstrate creative multi-task leadership, trouble shooting and problem solving skills. Intermediate math skills and legible handwriting are required. The individual must be highly organized and self-motivated.Education and/or ExperienceThe individual must have a minimum of five years of related professional work experience. An Associate degree or four- year degree is preferred.
