Extrusion Operator - Staffmark : Job Details

Staffmark is hiring dedicated individuals to join a leading fiber manufacturer in Johnson City, TN, as an Extrusion Operator! In this role, you'll operate melt spinning Extrusion Machines efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment, setting up, monitoring, and maintaining machines that form continuous filaments from synthetic materials. Pay: $17.50/hr with a $1.50/hr Weekly Attendance Bonus Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Job Responsibilities: Record operational data on machine tags. Clean and maintain extrusion and forming machines. Remove excess or completed filament from machines. Monitor machine operation, control boards, and gauges for malfunctions. Ensure cleanliness and safety in the production area. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: At least one year of machining experience.
