ENTRY LEVEL MANUFACTURING EXTRA BOARD POSITIONS
STARTING PAY $26.54
- Must have a High School or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Must be able to work entry-level jobs and be able to work in an industrial environment.
- Must be willing and able to work an unpredictable 12-hour shift schedule which includes: days, nights, and weekends that can change with very little notice to cover vacancies.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime and work on most holidays.
- Two years of work experience is required.
- Experience in industrial work such as manufacturing, logging, or construction is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
- Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintains logs and records of units produced. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
- Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
