External ILUS - Senior Project Engineer I (Remote) - Daifuku America Corporation : Job Details

Designing/enhancing conveyor systems as well as various automated and semi-automated material handling systems; may work on phases of a larger project or an entire smaller project. Review of product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements and specifications. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Prepares/ Reviews approval, permit, and installation drawings using AutoCAD - Obtains material and product quotes from vendors and issues purchase orders. Helps monitor the project schedule, engineering time, and material costs. Works with other disciplines on the project team to make sure the engineered solution and all equipment fit within system confines and constraints. Travels up to 20% to measure buildings, inventory equipment, commission systems, and interface with customers. Participates in continuous improvement projects.
