Experimental NC Programmer - Textronaviation : Job Details

**JOB SUMMARY:**Provide N/C programs for fabrication of machined parts.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**- Proficiency in CATIA V5/6 to program for 2 to 5 axis machines.- Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming and compare results with original specifications.- Efficiently program, test, and revise machine programming.- Select machine type (2 to 5 axes), tooling requirements (for work holding purposes and part orientation), and cutting tool requirements.- Reverse engineer parts to create tools and models, ensuring thoroughness to verify safety, usability, and interferences prior to fabrication.- Meet deadlines efficiently.- Work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.- Quote time on parts.- Train others when needed.- Provide on-machine support for program development.- Lead, guide, and direct lower-grade employees if required.- Coordinate daily work assignments with supervision.- Act as a liaison cross-functionally and between leaders.

**EDUCATION:**Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. Two-year vocational training preferred.

**EXPERIENCE:**Minimum 5 years of N/C programming experience or related machine shop experience.

**WORKING CONDITIONS:**Somewhat disagreeable due to exposure to grease and noise.
