Experienced Software Integration Engineer – Fully Cleared - The Solutions Group LLC : Job Details

Intelliforce is seeking a Software Integration Engineer (Level 3) to support the installation, integration, and maintenance of a high-availability, multi-tenant Kubernetes environment for mission-critical systems. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with the latest containerization, automation, and infrastructure-as-code technologies while playing a key part in the performance, reliability, and scalability of complex systems in support of national defense.Here's what your day-to-day might include:

• Installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a Linux-based, multi-domain environment
• Performing basic system administration and writing scripts in Bash or Python to automate tasks
• Troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads, networking, storage, ingress, and performance issues
• Managing, monitoring, and sustaining containerized infrastructure using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes
• Collaborating with DevOps and Application teams to integrate new services within Kubernetes clusters
• Supporting system provisioning and configuration via Infrastructure-as-Code practices using tools like Ansible
• Maintaining technical documentation for system architecture, deployments, and troubleshooting procedures
• Monitoring system performance with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Managing source control and contributing to collaborative development using Git
• Supporting integration and deployment pipelines and applying security best practices

Qualifications:Required:

• Clearance:TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Citizenship:Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least eight (8) years of relevant integration experience
• OR five (5) years of directly related full-time Computer Science work plus eight (8) years of experience
• OR a Master's degree in a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience
• OR an industry-recognized professional certification may substitute for one (1) year of experience

Proficiency in:

• Linux command-line interface
• Bash and/or Python scripting
• Kubernetes workload administration and monitoring
• Docker containerization
• Helm and Ansible for provisioning and configuration
• Git for version control
• System monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana

Desired:

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification

Compensation Range: $169,000.00 - $223,000.00*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role.
