Who You Are:

As a Mechanic, your key responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and servicing or repairing various vehicle systems including steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical systems, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning units. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work safely, analyze damaged parts, and assist with inventory control and other tasks as required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnosing and investigating vehicle issues to uncover the causes of defective operations.
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Executing both major and minor repairs on defective components.
• Documenting all activities in MV's Fleet Management System.
• Maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, which may include high school mechanics courses or a regional occupational program.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random drug testing.
