Who You Are:

As a Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and servicing or repairing various vehicle systems such as steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical systems, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning. Safety is our priority, and we are looking for individuals who can analyze damaged parts and contribute to inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, examine, and investigate vehicles to identify any defective operations of systems and components.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Execute both major and minor repairs of defective components.
• Document all work activities in MV's Fleet Management System.
• Maintain a well-organized and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least five (5) years of verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, which can include courses from high school or regional occupational programs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
