Position Description
Join our team as a Permanent Full Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder. We are seeking skilled individuals who are passionate about working on Heavy Duty Vehicles and providing top-notch maintenance.
- Hourly Pay: $26.75 per hour
- Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to $500 every quarter - that's four times a year!
- Sign-On Bonus: Receive $1750 after 30 days and another $1750 at 90 days!
- Schedule: Monday-Saturday, with one day off during the week
- Hours: Second Shift Monday - Friday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance
- A combination of two years of classroom training and work experience is preferred
- Valid CDL CLASS A preferred
- Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months of hire
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background check
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
- Conduct standard vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools
- Interact with customers and drivers to accurately determine repair needs
- Work in accordance with safety and compliance guidelines
- Perform additional support duties as needed
