Experienced (3+ years) Mass Tort Paralegal - Bernstein Liebhard LLP : Job Details

Bernstein Liebhard LLP seeking an experienced mass tort paralegal to be an integral member of our Mass Torts team. At least three years of prior Mass Tort Paralegal experience is required.

The position involves significant client interaction and case review. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, handling all aspects of a client s claim from pre-litigation investigation to discovery and ultimately settlement administration.

The successful candidate must be well organized, with a strong attention to detail, have strong time management skills, possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be comfortable corresponding with clients, the courts and opposing counsel. You must be able to have full ownership of your cases under the supervision of the case attorneys. You will be responsible for drafting legal documents, filing and service of court documents, reviewing and responding to discovery requests, corresponding with clients, and other general case management duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of case settlement administration including creating settlement claim packages, reviewing, and extracting medical records confirming injuries, answering client questions regarding the settlement process, working with lien resolution vendors, and generating client settlement statements.

A successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree and have demonstrated experience handling high-volume Mass Tort cases. Strong Excel skills are preferred.

Salary: From $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year - salary commensurate with mass tort experience.
