Expediter - Sanmina : Job Details

The Expediter performs coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules, expedites parts to resolve shortages, and manages material flow records. May ensure proper routing of incoming materials and monitor material flow between departments to meet commitments.

• Expedite open orders to meet required dates per MRP/Customer requests.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Escalate material issues promptly.
• Maintain daily contact with suppliers via phone, email, and face-to-face as needed.
• Assist buyers with material issues such as receiving discrepancies, AP issues, shortages, MRP demands, pricing, RMAs, MRB, RTV, and POs.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in materials or supply chain.
• Strong interaction, motivation, and influence skills with management, suppliers, and peers.
• Proficiency in Excel (medium to advanced).
• Background in materials/supply chain, quoting, and supplier relations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under objectives and metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
