Executive Underwriter - National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies : Job Details

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY OBJECTIVE:As a key member of the group, a Team Leader will contribute to the achievement of profitable production growth of Private Non-Profit business. This position is responsible for establishing and cultivating business relationships with brokers, clients, and other spheres of influence to ensure the continued flow and development of the team. Additionally, the Team Lead will train and develop its team on all job responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS:

• College degree in insurance, business, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4-8 years of experience in Financial Lines multi-line underwriting.
• Knowledge of technical issues, compliance, coverage, products, and pricing strategies.
• Understanding of Middle Market Private Non-Profit products and appetite.
• Understanding of field distribution, including managing large regional agency relationships.
