The Role: We are seeking a Manager, Executive IT Support to lead our high-impact team dedicated to supporting GM's most senior executives. This role requires a strong balance of technical depth, people leadership, and executive presence. As a leader of this function, you will ensure flawless execution, and inspire a culture of urgency, discretion, and world-class service delivery.
What You'll DoTeam Management & Development
Lead, coach, and grow a team of highly skilled Executive Support Analysts and Technicians.
Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving, technical excellence, and customer obsession.
Ensure workforce planning, career development, and succession readiness within the team.
Executive Partnership
Act as the primary IT liaison for GM's west coast senior leaders and their admins, building trust through reliability, responsiveness, and discretion.
Anticipate and resolve high-impact issues, ensuring minimal disruption to executive productivity.
Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional teams (Client Engineering, Network, Security, etc.) to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
Operational Excellence
Oversee complex incident management, root-cause analysis, and long-term remediation for executive-level IT issues.
Own escalations and ensure 24/7 coverage models meet expectations of global executive travel and business operations.
Drive adoption of best practices, automation, and standardization to scale services effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years in IT support, including global leadership experience
Demonstrated success leading customer-facing IT functions, preferably in executive or VIP support contexts.
Exceptional communication, executive presence, and absolute discretion when handling sensitive matters.
Strong technical background in modern end-user computing, collaboration tools, and incident management.
A balance of technical credibility and leadership influence. You can coach engineers while engaging confidently with executives.
A bias for action. You're able to execute quickly without sacrificing quality.
