The Executive General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of their restaurant. Responsibilities
- Oversees overall operations, enforces policies, procedures, and standards, and ensures compliance with laws regarding wages, hours, and sanitation.
- Manages P & L, communicates financial goals, and oversees financial operations including projections.
- Maximizes sales and profits while maintaining operational excellence.
- Maintains inventories, ensures compliance with pars, and completes related reports timely.
- Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting management staff, and develops the management team through coaching and counseling.
- Works with the team to recruit, hire, develop staff, and provides coaching as needed.
- Implements advertising and promotions in coordination with the Marketing Department, ensuring proper food presentation.
- Maintains safety and sanitation standards.
- Ensures employees are trained, schedules are appropriate, and guest relations are positive.
- Supports management with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Maintains professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards.
Job Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to read, write, follow recipes, and perform basic math.
- Ability to drive and operate a vehicle for long durations.
- Good hearing, vision, communication, organizational, and memory skills.
