You must submit an application until you receive a confirmation email.DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASSSubject to the direction, advice and approval of the Superintendent of Schools, this positionis responsible for the operation of the Board of Education's Division of Plant Services and School Planning. The incumbent shall have the responsibility of acting for the Superintendent of Schools in matters involving the efficient performance of the functions of the Plant Division and shall regularly report directly to the Superintendent of Schools on the conduct and status of the affairs of the Plant Division. This position shall negotiate with, supervise and evaluate the services of contractors and consultants to the Board of Education. S/he shall supervise the professional, engineering, technical and clerical personnel assigned to the Plant Division and their staffs.

Possession of a Professional Engineer or Architect License issued by the State of New York and presented at time of appointment. This license must be maintained during employment.
