The Team You'll Work With In keeping with the Mayor's vision for a safe, equitable, and just City of New York, the Deputy Mayor's Office of Public Safety (OPS) is dedicated to creating a unified public safety ecosystem where all city agencies tasked with safeguarding New York City are working together to preserve peace, enforce the law, and protect the lives and property of those who live, work, and visit communities across the five boroughs. The Office provides support, ensures accountability, and fosters collaboration between the City's public safety agencies.
The Problems You'll SolveAbout You You have a Bachelor's Degree with a preference of having an advanced degree. You have 15+ years of relevant law enforcement experience. You have experience in developing training and training police officers and peace officers. You have experience coordinating operations involving multiple law enforcement agencies. You have experience managing both civilian and law enforcement staff. You have experience with complex operations. You have excellent communication, writing, research, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, time-management, and multi-tasking skills. You can take the initiative, prioritize duties, pay close attention to detail, prioritize tasks, and work independently and under pressure to meet specific deadlines. You have experience leading and managing complex projects in a fast-paced setting. You are flexible and have a creative approach to making plans, using resources, and solving problems.
QualificationsYou have a Bachelor's Degree. You have 15+ years of relevant law enforcement experience.
