The New York State Society of Anesthesiologists (NYSSA), a leading state medical society representing over 4,200 anesthesiologists, seeks a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead the organization through its next phase of strategic growth and operational excellence.

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing NYSSA's daily operations, a $3.5 M budget, managing a high-performing staff of 5, and implementing the strategic vision set by the Board of Directors. This leader will ensure the continued delivery of high-value member services, enhance operational efficiency, advance advocacy efforts, and foster collaboration across the organization and affiliated societies.

This position is NY based but candidates may live remotely. Travel will average 30 days per year (PGA, ESA and ASA annual meetings as well as Board meetings, WFSA meeting and legislative days in Washington, D.C., and Albany). Additional travel may be needed.
