Senior Consultant, Credit & Lending - Private Credit/ Investments (646-###-####)

JCW has partnered with an established corporate bank in their search for a Head of Loan Operations. The role is crucial in driving transformation initiatives and ensuring seamless collaboration among department heads within Operations. The Head of Loan Operations will lead a team of 5-7 individuals with a specific focus on corporate loans for real estate and fund finance transactions. This is an opportunity to take point on larger transactions while working with high profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment and smooth execution across departments.
• Manage the entire loan cycle from serving, processing, and closing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key leaders, providing regular updates on change management and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze department procedures, recommend automation, and streamline workflows in collaboration with Operations Heads.
• Act as head of the department, collaborating with senior staff on new deals and ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree qualified with 10+ years of extensive experience in corporate banking with knowledge of syndications and applicable regulations.
• Strong loan operations and/ or middle office background while being proficient with major loan processing systems (preferably with syndications capabilities).
• Strong interpersonal skills for building positive relationships at all levels within the bank.
