As Executive Director, you will play a critical leadership role in advancing our mission by aligning facility operations with strategic goals, maintaining regulatory excellence, and ensuring exceptional care delivery and staff collaboration across all programs and services.Position SummaryThe Executive Director is responsible for the oversight and strategic leadership of all healthcare services at assigned Discovery MSO facilities and affiliated entities across the state. This role integrates departmental functions with company-wide objectives, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and supports clinical and operational excellence to sustain financial health and drive organizational growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with the CEO, COO, Marketing, and Outreach teams to define strategic goals and quarterly performance targets.
- Coordinate closely with the Chief Medical Officer to align protocols with compliance and quality standards.
- Maintain proactive communication with facility Medical Directors and department heads.
- Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams across sites.
- Advocate for Discovery MSO through outreach initiatives and partnerships.
Clinical & Operational Oversight
- Oversee all operational aspects of assigned facilities, including compliance, program integration, and service delivery.
- Ensure medical protocols meet state and Joint Commission standards.
- Partner with Human Resources and Recruitment on talent development and retention strategies.
- Lead internal and external audits and inspections, including Joint Commission and licensure reviews.
Financial & Business Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets in coordination with Finance and Operations.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and budget performance, making adjustments as needed.
- Identify and develop new service lines and business opportunities.
- Lead capital improvement initiatives across facilities.
Quality & Performance Improvement
- Analyze trends in volume, revenue, and expenses to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Establish transparent communication systems for escalating key issues.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Drive initiatives focused on clinical reimbursement, optimization and compliance.
QualificationsRequired:
- 7–10 years of operational leadership experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical reimbursement, state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Proven success in managing multi-site operations, budgets, and business development.
Preferred:
- Experience participating in legal and compliance matters within a healthcare environment.
- Strategic project or program management experience at an executive level.
