What You'll Do

  • Fiscal Management: Develop and oversee the facility's budget, monitor expenses, revenue, and occupancy rates, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and revenue growth.
  • Community Engagement: Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, foster a sense of belonging, and engage with the local community to promote the facility's commitment to senior care.
  • Staff Recruitment and Development: Hire, train, and lead a dedicated team of caregivers and support staff, ensuring high standards of service and care.
  • Operations Coordination: Oversee and coordinate medical, nursing, and administrative activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Facility Management: Manage building improvements and equipment upgrades to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
  • Policy Adherence: Enforce policies that uphold a high standard of care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

  • Licensure: Current state administrator licensure or certification.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant fields include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a strong track record of managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living management role.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with residents, their families, team members, and the local community.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and regulatory compliance to ensure lawful and ethical facility operations.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and safely transfer residents.
  • Vision requirements include seeing near and far with depth perception.
