Overview & Purpose:Responsible for leading multiple key functions within DPS. Directs, plans, and oversees overall growth strategies. Implements and achieves strategic plans, translates district vision into operational goals, and sets the highest standards of excellence.
Primary Objective:This position provides leadership and strategic direction for initiatives aimed at improving academic and life outcomes for all students, especially those from marginalized communities. As a key member of the Office of Student & Family Empowerment (OSFE), this role contributes to school improvement efforts and building partnerships that support student success. The individual will ensure targeted support for marginalized students, aligned with the district's Instructional Framework, and help schools foster safe, inclusive, and empowering environments.

Key Responsibilities:Education: Minimum: Bachelor's in Education or related field; Preferred: Master's in Education or related field.
Experience: 5+ years leading effective teams and implementing system strategies; 3+ years as an effective school principal; Preferred management experience: 5+ years.
