Overview

Executive Creative Director role at Monks. You will act as the senior-most creative leader for one of the world's largest packaged goods companies, building client trust through brand consistency and leading a multidisciplinary team of creatives, designers, and production professionals. You will lead, motivate, and collaborate to achieve outstanding creative results in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on opportunities and execution that align with client objectives and Monks' values.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a diverse range of advertising media projects, ensuring creative and production teams align with Monks\' values, client objectives, and audience engagement.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies that align with client objectives and Monks\' values, ensuring audience engagement and brand consistency.
  • Drive creative excellence from pitch to final delivery, proactively identifying campaign needs beyond initial requests and producing compelling, well-designed presentations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-speed environment, pushing creative and technical boundaries to exceed brief expectations.
  • Bring strong production thinking and problem-solving skills to develop novel creative solutions for execution.
  • Own the responsibility for flawless creative execution of projects, from pitch to final delivery.
  • Proactively think about what the campaign needs beyond the client\'s initial ask, producing beautifully designed decks aligned with project objectives.
  • Multitask multiple projects at once to go above and beyond each brief and push what\'s possible on creative and technical levels.
About You (Essentials)
  • At least 10 years of CD-level experience or 3-5 years of ECD-level experience in advertising at the highest level.
  • Adept at identifying growth opportunities within existing projects with strong client-facing skills; comfortable presenting concepts and strategies to key stakeholders.
  • Inspiring, hands-on leader who can coach, develop, and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to independently lead fast-paced projects and go the extra mile to push ongoing work to perfection.
  • Highly confident in a high-volume, asset-rich environment.
  • Digital-savvy with knowledge of the latest social platforms, digital/AI technology, strong writing and visual design instincts.
  • Confident leading work spanning digital, social campaigns to hero films and TVCs.
  • Strong pitching and presentation skills to represent Monks to clients.
  • Experience directing remote teams across time zones in a global company context.
  • Pragmatic understanding of the advertising process and politics to keep projects moving.
  • Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, InDesign, After Effects; passion for motion and editing preferred.

Salary Range: $155,000—$185,000 USD
