About The Restaurant

The restaurant is an exciting sourdough pizza restaurant and music-hub in the Western Catskills, blending community spirit, high-quality ingredients, and creativity in every dish.

We re looking for an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen with passion, precision, and vision. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the back of house while working in partnership with ownership to grow and shape the brand.

Responsibilities

As Executive Chef, you will:

  • Lead the Kitchen: Take full ownership of all back-of-house operations, setting the standard for excellence.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency, collaboration, and high morale.

  • Budget Management: Maintain and adjust the annual kitchen budget, optimizing costs without compromising quality.

  • Innovation & Growth: Collaborate with ownership on creative new menu items, business ideas, and strategies to grow the brand.

  • Quality & Consistency: Ensure every plate meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or senior kitchen leader (pizza experience strongly preferred).

  • Strong skills in dough-making, pizza preparation, and Italian-inspired cuisine.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, cut costs, and increase profitability.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and brand building.

  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
