EXECUTIVE CHEF - Compass Group : Job Details

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Executive Chef to lead foodservice operations at a rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you'll oversee all kitchen operations, manage a talented team, and ensure exceptional food quality and safety in accordance with corporate standards and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regular and therapeutic menus following company guidelines
• Train kitchen staff on food preparation, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
• Manage kitchen inventory and ordering within budget to ensure product availability
• Maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance schedules for all kitchen equipment and spaces
• Support retail and catering programs, ensuring excellence in presentation and service
• Perform additional duties as required to support daily operations

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
• 35 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
• Strong knowledge of food trends, production standards, and cost controls
• High-volume and complex foodservice operations experience preferred
• ServSafe certification strongly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and kitchen management software
