Executive ChefLocation: Ridgefield, WA Salary Range: $103,000 - $134,000 (Targeting mid-range: ~$118,000) Reports to: Vice President of Food & Beverage About the Employer A premier gaming and entertainment destination in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across multiple high-volume outlets. The property is known for its award-winning culinary offerings and chef-driven restaurants that attract guests from across the region. This opening comes as the current Executive Chef has been promoted internally, creating an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to shape the future of the culinary program. Position Summary The Executive Chef will oversee several owned and operated dining venues, including full-service restaurants, lounges, and in-room dining services. This position does not include oversight of banquet operations, food courts, employee dining areas, or third-party-managed outlets. This is a hands-on, operational leadership role requiring a blend of menu creativity, team management, and performance accountability. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with corporate culinary leadership on restaurant concept development and seasonal menu innovations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the culinary teams across all managed food outlets (6 restaurants)
- Partner with corporate culinary teams on menu development and new restaurant initiatives
- Deliver consistently high-quality cuisine aligned with brand standards
- Drive cost control measures across food and labor operations
- Recruit, develop, and evaluate BOH leadership talent
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols
- Foster a culture of teamwork, excellence, and accountability
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Previous experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a multi-outlet, high-volume environment
- Proven ability to manage large, diverse culinary teams
- Strong creative vision paired with operational discipline
- Collaborative leadership style with strong mentoring skills
Licensing Requirement Due to the employer's status as a licensed gaming facility, candidates must qualify for a Gaming License, which includes:
- Federal background check
- Fingerprinting
