Summary The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors of the cooperative Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.) Coordinate and schedule board & committee meetings Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings. Prepare and distribute board agendas, meeting materials, and minutes in a timely manner Plan and organize logistics for meetings, including venue booking, technology setup, and catering. Attend board meetings and other key meetings to take minutes and track action items. Follow up on action items to ensure tasks are completed by assigned deadlines Maintain accurate records of board activities, including resolutions, policies, and other governance documentation Screen and prioritize phone calls, emails, and correspondence on behalf of the CEO. Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external meetings. Arrange travel for the CEO and board members, including itineraries, transportation, and accommodations. Provide support during travel, including resolving scheduling or logistical issues as they arise. Ensure all documents are accurate, professional, and prepared in advance of deadline Act as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries directed to the CEO and Board of Directors. Supervisory Responsibilities This position directly supervises the administrative assistant Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business Administration or related field from a four-year college or university; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations A registered Notary Public in the State of Michigan is preferable.
