ResponsibilitiesAs an Excess & Surplus Underwriting Technician, you'll be joining a small yet dynamic and rapidly growing team where you'll play a key role in shaping a high-performing underwriting operation from the ground up. In this fast-paced environment, you'll support the underwriting process by conducting initial reviews of new business submissions. Your focus will be on identifying competitive opportunities, gathering essential underwriting information, and determining the appropriate next stepswhether that's responding directly to agents or escalating to an underwriter.

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees which for this role include: Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
