Excavator Operator - Heinrich Chevrolet : Job Details

Excavator Operators needed at Lockport Recycling Center LLC. located at 178 Oakhurst Street, Lockport New York.Part Time & Full Time positions availableResponsibilities:

• Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
• Operate an excavator and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Load C&D materials into walking floor trailers
• Secure loads by tarping the trailer
• Move trailers within the parking lot
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
• Follow all the safety procedures and guidelines
• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment (excavator required)
• Experience with walking floor trailers is a plus
• Ability to tarp trailers and move them within a lot is helpful but not required
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed
