EVS Tech - English Language Learners program Summer 2025 Cohort - Augusta Health : Job Details

Augusta Health will hire a cohort of five Environmental Services Techs who speak English as a Second Language. This cohort will work on the day shift, Monday through Thursday for a total of 32 hours per week. Augusta Health will include two hours per day of English language instruction during the regular work schedule. This instruction will focus on reading, writing, speaking and listening to provide the necessary communication skills for daily life and employment. An interpreter will be part of the interview and onboarding process to assist and support the candidates. The primary job duties of the Environmental Services Tech includes performing a variety of cleaning, servicing and replenishing duties in assigned hospital areas to assure that patient, medical, visitor and administrative areas are maintained in accordance with established standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
