To strengthen our Events team, we are looking to hire an Events Manager, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

In this position, you will be responsible for organizing multiple projects in the fields of luxury experiential marketing. This individual must be creative, detail-oriented, fiscally responsible, and capable of developing design concepts within Ferrari standards. He/she will manage all stages of planning, design, and production for their assigned projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, extreme attention to detail, time management skills, the ability to adapt quickly, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple vendors, projects, budgets, negotiations, and technical complexities of each event.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Project Management

  • Work cross-functionally to conceptualize innovative and best-in-class events for the Ferrari brand.
  • Support events such as brand exhibitions, product launches/tours, Ferrari rallies, and driving programs.
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring clarity on deliverables, timelines, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Manage the overall event processes and proactively develop various components (including event concept, decor, catering, entertainment, logistics, etc.) involving key stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge of budgets and negotiations, while enhancing proficiency in logistics and formatting.
  • Manage multimillion-dollar events, oversee purchase orders, track payments, seek efficiencies, and provide cost-saving alternatives.
  • Continuously research current trends in design, technology, industry standards, vendors, and entertainment.

Vendor and Agency Partnership

  • Collaborate with leadership to source and secure project resources within budget.
  • Maintain relationships within the events industry and with appropriate vendors.
  • Manage production companies, agencies, and vendors to ensure alignment with Ferrari's design, brand, and budget guidelines.
  • Uphold Ferrari brand ideals and corporate identity with vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 5 years' experience producing luxury events, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a multidisciplinary approach, with excellent interpersonal relations.
  • Passion for brand building and challenging the status quo, with cultural awareness of emerging trends.
  • Outstanding creative skills with a forward-thinking approach.
  • Experience in creative strategy and project development, including operational planning and presentations.
  • Strong drive for execution and attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude, able to navigate uncertainty and set challenging objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of the luxury landscape.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to generate alternative solutions quickly.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
