As a vital member of our Marketing department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our workforce and fostering a positive organizational culture. The ideal candidate will be a trusted team member with clear communication skills, coordinate programs for employee, client, and trade partner events and maintain a welcome environment for all attendees. Requires a flexible schedule to accommodate night, weekend and holiday events. - Manage on-site event execution to include pre-planning, execution, setup and breakdown.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful collaborations.
- Evaluate event success through feedback collection, create performance metrics and analysis to utilize for future events.
- Maintain event calendar to ensure there are no overlaps
- Continually identify opportunities for continuous improvement to promote high impact and professional events.
- Assist with special projects related to the effective and efficient use of Company initiatives within the business.
- Build professional relationships across the organization to promote employee events.
- Professionally represent company through exemplary work.
- Travel (up to 25%) Maricopa and Pinal County as needed to local construction sites for all events.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (KSA's, Education, YOE)
- Bachelor's degree or three years experience in marketing, events, or communications.
- Experience with Adobe Creative products: Illustrator and InDesign.
- Skilled in new media and trending social media outlets.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent writing, verbal, creative, and organizational skills with ability to communicate at all client, trade partner, and employee levels.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel between project sites as needed.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for the purposes of data entry, reporting, flyer creation, and maintenance.
- Able to work independently or with a team.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of construction industry.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS (environment, noise level, public interactions)
- Office working environment, regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about office building and job trailers
- Ability to drive to job sites to meet with teams/employees in outdoor construction environment and may include: high heat, walking on uneven terrain, climb / descend stairs, loud noises
- Lift and move up to 20 pounds
- Ability to wear required PPE on job sites
