Iris Comm Lab We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Specialist to join our team and help us create unforgettable experiences for our clients and their guests. This role is integral to the successful planning and execution of various events, from corporate functions and trade shows to weddings and community gatherings. Job: On site Location: Grand Rapids, MI Pay Range: $850- $1150 per week.

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events from inception to execution.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and needs for each event.
• Research and secure appropriate venues, catering services, and vendors.
• Develop event budgets and ensure all expenses are monitored and reported.
• Create event timelines and coordinate logistics, including setup and breakdown.
• Handle on-site event management, including troubleshooting and ensuring quality control.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in event planning and project management with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
