(Contract – 8 Weeks; with potential to be full time)
We are seeking a Head of Event Operations / Event Producer to lead production on a major upcoming event. This is a contract role beginning immediately for an 8-10 week engagement leading up to event.
- Lead all operations and production for upcoming New York Dog Parade event
- Help oversee event logistics: crowd control, barricades, staging, and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate with brands and sponsors on activations, ensuring smooth setup and execution.
- Serve as the point of contact for brands and media partners
- Manage production timelines, budgets, and deliverables in the weeks leading up to the event.
- Recruit, train, and lead staff/volunteers on parade day.
- Collaborate with internal leadership on sponsorship integration and creative vision.
Qualifications
- Experience in production, operations, logistics, and production management.
- Experience working directly with brands, clients, and sponsors on event activations.
- Ability to coordinate with city agencies and officials.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Available to start immediately and commit through end of October
- Passion for NYC community events
- Must love dogs
