Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Event Planner to lead the coordination and execution of a wide range of events, including public rallies, organizational gatherings, and special promotional functions. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is detail-oriented, and can juggle logistics, marketing coordination, and team dynamics seamlessly. Travel is expected approximately 30% of the time, depending on event schedules and locations.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate, and execute public events and rallies from concept to completion
- Manage event logistics including permits, vendors, transportation, equipment, and on-site setup/teardown
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and outreach teams to ensure event success
- Oversee event marketing efforts including digital promotion, social media coordination, and branding
- Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure all milestones are met
- Work effectively with internal teams and external partners, maintaining strong relationships and communication
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide insight for continuous improvement
- Demonstrates strong self-motivation by taking initiative, managing priorities independently, and consistently driving tasks to completion without requiring close supervision.
Requirements: - Proven experience in event planning, logistics, and on-site coordination (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Marketing experience, including event promotion, digital campaigns, and audience engagement strategies
- Strong computer skills: proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and event/project management tools
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Team player who works well with others and communicates clearly across all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time for event coordination and support
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event needs
Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field - or equivalent relevant experience
