Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Event Planner. This position will support an up-tempo, creative environment for an IC customer. Collaborate with excellence by working with the best in the business. The Candidate will work in a dynamic environment, coordinating a wide variety of internal and public customer events including, but not limited to, all hands, town halls, panel discussion, offsites, and visits to external organizations.
Job Duties Include
Coordinate a wide variety of internal and public Sponsor events including, but not limited to, all hands, town halls, panel discussions, offsites, visits to external organizations such as Universities and conferences.
Gain familiarity with security protocols across various Sponsor buildings to determine how local security limitations (e.g., Unclassified spaces, fire egress paths) will impact event planning.
Use enterprise event space booking system to book event space for planned events and dry runs.
Plan and execute event dry runs to include coordinating with Sponsor staff Audio Visual specialists to test-run lighting, sound, stage blocking, video recording etc.
Arrange and execute prep calls for speakers, volunteers, and other participants.
Proactively communicate with speakers and volunteers to ensure a common understanding of event details.
Produce agendas and/or run-of-show documents in Word or PowerPoint to ensure Sponsor seniors and event participants have a common understanding of the event details.
Coordinate with Sponsor speechwriter or component communications teams to arrange for any needed senior remarks or speeches in support of the event.
Work with Sponsor staff Audio Visual specialist to confirm video and audio recording of the event.
Under sponsor direction, arrange needed support for external event speakers.
Assist with planning for Sponsor public speaking engagements, conferences, and tradeshows.
Required Qualifications
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/Poly.
Minimum of four (4) years direct related experience and bachelor's degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree).
Experience planning end-to-end executive level events.
Strong communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
Robust interpersonal skills that enable building and coordinating a wide network of multiple offices and decision makers.
