About the Position: Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers is seeking an Event Manager responsible for leading event planning and project management as a key member of the marketing team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients. Full-time, in-house position with occasional late nights and travel based on the event schedule. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities:
- Plan and project manage events from ideation to delivery, including but not limited to the creation of timelines, budgets, invitations and guest lists, supplier sourcing, and communication to attendees, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Craft innovative programming and impactful events to drive engagement, elevate brand experience, and support marketing goals
- Identify opportunities and refine processes to scale similar initiatives across regional offices
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to understand event objectives and requirements
- Work with the creative team to prioritize and create event marketing including invitations and multi-media promotional materials
- Coordinate registration, transportation, hotel accommodations, gift selection, audio/visual needs, webcasts, staging and speaker selection for all programs
- Assign project roles based on the needs of the event or project
- Work with the onsite team to manage day-of logistics, including rental deliveries, audio/visual system setup, and catering arrangements
- Perform post-event follow-up and analysis
- Oversee ordering, tracking, and timely restocking of materials to support upcoming events and marketing initiatives
- Track and manage event budgets, ensuring ROI alignment across contracted services and experiences
- Liaise with VIP clients, guest speakers, and internal specialists to deliver successful, high-touch experiences reflecting DOYLE's brand guidelines and hospitality standards
- Develop partnerships and collaborate with local and national vendors on marketing initiatives and events
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- College degree in a related field
- Prior experience managing and designing a variety of events, conferences and meetings including but not limited to exhibitions, executive events, cocktail receptions and dinners, seminars, round tables, networking events, panels and book signings
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events across multiple regions simultaneously
- Motivated, self-starter, ability to work independently and project plan; ability to think innovatively
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a proven ability to work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
- Resourceful individual with the ability to take direction and work independently; be proactive with ideas and creative solutions
- An individual known to exhibit enthusiasm, integrity, and willingness to help whenever necessary
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Experience in B2B Marketing events and/or trade show management a plus
- Experience with contact management and lifecycle marketing a plus
