Evening Shift Nursing Supervisor

Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the Evening Shift at our skilled nursing facility located in Minoa, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all supervisory duties for the designated unit, ensuring high standards of care.
• Collaborate in developing and implementing employee policies and procedures.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced nurses, sharing valuable clinical insights and professional guidance.
• Maintain and enhance the quality of care for residents.
• Conduct thorough reviews of resident records and care quality.
• Monitor overall resident care and evaluate individual cases.
• Address and resolve any questions or complaints from residents and their families.
• Act as a liaison between the unit and upper management, effectively communicating the unit's needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS RN License is required.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a Charge Nurse role is preferred.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
