Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Night Time Custodian at Winlock High School. This full-time position is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently during nighttime hours.Responsibilities- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.- Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in restrooms.- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.- Assist with setting up and taking down furniture for events and activities.- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly.- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.- Collaborate with other custodial staff to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and ability to follow safety guidelines.- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.- Flexibility to work evening hours and occasional weekends as needed.- Background check and clearance may be required.
