Role Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee the deployment of Electric Era charging stations across all phases of the Site Implementation process from design through construction and into operation, ensuring sites are delivered to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and construction process for Electric Era's battery-backed DC fast charging installations across all phases of the process including feasibility assessments, design engineering, permitting and utility coordination, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Accountable for establishing and maintaining overall budgets and schedules and tracking all project costs.
- Develop, document, and optimize project development processes, controls and systems to ensure the scalability of the Site Implementation team across site design, permitting, procurement, construction and commissioning/launch.
- Work closely with suppliers and Electric Era's Supply Chain team to facilitate timely procurement of all items required to complete the installation of charging sites at scale.
- Formulate opinions and recommendations based on factual data from the industry.
- Coordinate key project management process to maintain the EV roll out in an efficient and controlled manner.
- Ensure a smooth handoff to Network Operations after commissioning to support industry-leading uptime.
Skills and Experience:
- 3-5+ years in development of EV fast charging or other large development sites with complex electrical components.
- Demonstrated background in charging network deployment or development in adjacent industries with corresponding electrical electrical complexity.
- Proven track record in strategic planning of DC Fast Charging deployment across multiple regions, AHJs, and utilities in the United States.
- Detailed understanding of the current public fast charging landscape .
- Exceptional communication and project management skills to effectively progress discussions with important stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
