Role: ETL Developer Location: Washington, Vergina, Maryland (On Site) EXP:8+ Years Requirements We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile ETL Developer with a strong foundation in data pipeline development, shell scripting, and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes using tools like Informatica IICS, Python/PySpark, and will be proficient in implementing CI/CD practices for data infrastructure. A solid understanding of data architecture and automation is crucial. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Informatica IICS, Python, and PySpark
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system integration tasks
  • Architect and implement data integration solutions on AWS (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift)
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and deployment using tools like Git, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for reliability and scalability
  • Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development
  • Proficiency in Informatica IICS, Python, and PySpark
  • Strong experience with shell scripting (Bash, etc.)
  • In-depth understanding of AWS services used in data engineering (e.g., S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, CloudWatch)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
  • Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
