Estimator - Carter Lumber Company : Job Details

A Carter Lumber Estimator performs material take-offs on residential and light commercial buildings. Requires accurate knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the building construction industry. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and customer service are necessary to this position. Requirements to be Considered for the Position: 2 years experience in residential and light commercial construction or 2 years in estimating. Understanding of home, pole building, garage, barn and deck components. Ability to read blueprints. Building material sales experience. Working knowledge of Professional Estimating Software. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
